For over four decades, The Moghul has been bringing the rich and vibrant flavours of Indian cuisine to Sidcup. Since opening our doors in 1985, our passion has remained the same: to create exceptional food and memorable dining experiences for our guests.
In August 2015, The Moghul underwent a major expansion and refurbishment, marking an exciting new chapter in our journey. With a renewed vision, we created a comfortable, stylish and intimate setting where guests could relax, dine and truly appreciate the traditions of Indian cuisine, brought to life with a modern approach.
Our chefs combine time-honoured culinary traditions with contemporary expertise, carefully crafting a menu filled with flavour, creativity and passion. From much-loved classics to modern interpretations, every dish is prepared with care and a commitment to quality.

Celebrating 40 Years in Sidcup
In 2025, we reached a very special milestone — 40 years of The Moghul in Sidcup (1985–2025).
It was an honour to celebrate this incredible journey alongside the Mayor, local councillors, local businesses, community members, our loyal customers and everyone who has supported us throughout the years.
The response to our 40th Anniversary Celebration was truly overwhelming. We were deeply touched by the number of people who wanted to join us. Unfortunately, due to the incredible demand and limited capacity, we were unable to accommodate everyone who wished to attend.
To everyone who has dined with us, celebrated with us, recommended us, or supported The Moghul over the past 40 years — thank you. Your continued support has been at the heart of our story.
We are proud of our roots in Sidcup and grateful to be part of the local community. As we look towards the future, we will continue to honour the traditions that have shaped The Moghul while embracing new ideas, flavours and experiences.
